Our Story
Hi, we're Ivan and Mariana!
Lets start our story at the very beginning, shall we?
We met in 2004 when we were only 18 years old at a common friend's party, and fell in love almost instantly. FUN FACT: We both love to dance salsa and Ivan asked Mariana for a dance at that party =)
After 4 years of dating we got married in 2008, welcomed our first son in 2011 and our second son in 2014.
Becoming business owners had always been a topic of conversation in our home. Mariana had gone to school for accounting and was working at an accounting firm, and Ivan had been working as a Water Damage Crew Chief for a restoration company for some time.
In 2016 we finally decided to join forces and open the doors at Masterpro Disaster Recovery LLC.
Together we have worked diligently in providing each customer the best restoration service in the DC area, treating everyone as part of our family.
With a deep sense of understanding of what it really feels to go thru a disaster like water, fire or mold, we work endlessly to make sure our customers are at ease while their home goes thru the restoration process.
We're incredible blessed and thankful for how much our customers trust us with their homes and businesses. We truly have served the best people in the DMV area!

Get to know our Management Team.
Mariana is one of the founders of Masterpro Disaster Recovery LLC. She has a background in accounting which allows her to oversee all of the financials at Masterpro as well. Mariana enjoys traveling, fashion and spending time with her 2 boys and husband.

Ivan is one of the co-founders of Masterpro Disaster Recovery. He oversees all of the operations in the field and at jobsites. Ivan enjoys mountain biking, all outdoor activities and spending time with his family.

Catelin (Cati) has been with Masterpro for since 2020 and has become a great asset to the company. She started out as a field tech and has worked her way up to Project Management. Cati uses her vacation time to travel and her free time to spend time at home with her mom and younger brother.

Charlie started working at Masterpro in 2023. He has learned a lot about handling the field crew and managing the workflow at the jobsites. He is a new father of a little girl and during his free time he enjoys driving sports cars.
